i still want it to be below my shoulders beacause short hair does not really look good on me.

and i don't want to dye it like purple, pink.. you knoe, extravagant colors. i like it more soft and natural like light ash blonde coz i have black hair..

i'm fond of emo hair. maybe you can just get it razor cut, obviously shaggy. as for coloring i always liked when girls took a color and ran with it.. like brunette base with dark and light auburn, copper, super red and blonde streaks in it. reminds me of autumn.

Not sure what an EMO is - but if this is going to be a drastic change for you I'd invest both time and money - don't go to an "assembly line" salon where they pass you off from person to person - shop for a specialist salon and make an appt for a consult and then the style - fully discuss what you are going for and insist when you make the call that you want someone with experience (at least 5 years) who will take their time and discuss with you what you are looking for! I would recommend the gal who does mine but you'd have to go to Texas! Good Luck!

If you're not emo, why do you want to look like you are? If you want to go from black to ash blonde, you will have to bleach the color out, and then color it. Plan on getting touch-ups every 4 weeks.
