fyi:im already getting side-bangs, i have long dark brown hair, and pretty thin so thats what you have to work with here.

There are pretty much two extremes if you want to be more on the dark emo side or the happy scene side. Dark eyeliner works, but scenesters like to use bright colored eyeshadow like yellow and hot pink. Usually they will go two or three colored too, like pink on the bottom lid fading into blue and purple on the top.
Plastic brightly colored accessories, bandanas, long necklaces, fake pearls.
clothing: skinny jeans, studded belts, band tee shirts - guns, hearts, stars. ballet flats shoes... =)

Black hair, cut into a modern mullet, snakebite peircings, perhaps a few slices up the inside of your wrists, wear nothing but black, skinny leg jeans, and converse shoes, band tshirts, as for the attitude, just hate everyone, simple..

NOT black eyeliner or black nail polish because thats mainly a goth look.Honestly I don't know but you can go to the yahoo home page click images in the search box then type in emo...that's what I do if I'm confused.
