Please recommend some good emo/punkish haircuts for a girl?

I read a lot about going wild and trying different gels and sprays... Just randomly messing up my hair... What do you know; doesn't work. Well, I'm going to a salon in a few days and I really want a picture of a haircut (w/ highlights, not nessessarily though) to show the stylist, so I can get it. My hair is thin, so it's kinda hard to make it stay in wild places, but I guess for a look that I love I can figure it out... Please help. I really want a good haircut. My current one is really boring and doesn't fit my style at all. Thank you so much.

get choppy cuts that look blunt. NOT soft at all. get them angles and get bangs in the front that are choppy

first of all emo and punk are two TOTALLY different sub-cultures. if u wanna look emo-ish then dont even think of punk because punks would prob laugh in ur face for wanting to look emo. and if u wanna look emo they just dye ur hair blonde or black straighten it and make side bangs. layer and chop up ur hair basically. but dont give into the emo scene, in a year they'll be none left. emo is dead
