I would bring the picture with you... Then tell them that it all about the layers at the top... tell them where the shortest layers are and the longest .. then tell them how long you want the rest... I told my hairdresser that i wanted a lot of volume at the top of my head and that is what she did to mine... Good Luck.. I like the hair cut!

bring in the picture. i don't know how you could describe that accurately without fumbling with words and getting something you don't want. make sure you go to a good hairstylist though, you'll need someone who has been cutting hair for a long time if you want it to turn out right.
