I'm a guy, and I've got long-*** steteotypical "emo" hair

thats me there. I'm very far from emo so don't tell me not to be emo and bla bla bla. I've had the damn style for 6 years now and emos just decide to take it over.. Anyways.. i want my hair to look like the guy with the blonde strip on the side:

His hair is so badass and i would like to copy the style. What do i have to cut, where should i go to get it done, what should i tell them, ect. Any help at all please. (idk jack about hair, i comb mine down n part it.. hes got like a comb to the side sort of thing while the sides.. idk just tell me what i'd have to do)

she will make it look similare to the style you want it

You need a salon specialist to get a satisfactory effect similar to what you are seeking. By all means take the photo with you. Be prepared to pay A LOT and have to mess with your hair A LOT to keep it looking that way....

Could be way too high maintenance for you. The salon specialist will be able to tell you....
