ok so i hate using this term too so please dont get mad at me but i dont know what else to call it (if you have any suggestions for a word substitution, please tell me) but i want "emo hair" (there, i said it) my hair is blonde and about shoulder length and im getting it cut and possibly colored tomorrow. im a chick, and my hair already covers half of my face but i have a cowlick so that makes it hard to part my hair (is there anything i can put on cowlicks to tame them?) and i want it shorter but all the styles that i like are guy styles. they are pretty long in the front and short and spiky in the back. if anyone has any suggestions on how to style my hair "emo" and/or has any pictures of good "emo" hair cuts, could you please give them to me? thanks a bunch for the help

Cut it to your chin, dye it black, straighten it, and if you like put colored streaks in it. And always make sure that people can only see one of your eyes.

The thing about emo is that girls and guys pretty much look the same. You can to a spiky in the back, long in the front hairstyle if you like.

I am a proper emo! I've always had my hair styled similar, but if you want to try something new try a right side fringe and maybe have your hair layered. If your talking about colouring your hair then try a few highlights, or maybe some very obvious streaks, not too obvious though and make sure they go with your hair colour! Or if you don't want streaks there are shops where you can get hair extensions, but clip in's so you can put them in your hair and they are not noticeable! their better than dyeing your hair because they don't have any chemicals in, and they feel soft and like real hair!(remember to wash the extensions every now and then though) And if your worried about cowlicks, just use a little gel or straighten your hair then put lots of hairspray on!simple and ingenious!
