So my hair is a huge problem! It always is frizzy, and if I use a straightener on it, it will with out a doubt fry it and my hair will be terribly damaged and break. Same with the chemical straighteners. I really want to make it straight without it frying, so from there I can cut it short to get the "emo-cut" I really would like
I have very frizzy, dry, curly afro hair, i want to straighten it without getting it burned/fried?
Don't worry your not going to 'fry' your hair, only excessive use of hair straightener will 'fry' your hair. To protect your hair from the 'heat' here are some tips. When you take a shower use alot of conditioner and leave some in your hair when you get out. This makes your hair shiner and will help protect hair shaft. Gently blot your hair--don't rub! Then if you don't have already get a hair heat protector you can get at any drug store..whether thermasilk whatever that will protect your hair from heat. It comes it creme form and this will really protect your hair from damage. Blow dry your hair using round-brush make sure you get excess water out! Straighten your hair in sections and you'll have straight hair and no damage!
