I want a completely new hairstyle, and I have no idea what. Idea? (Photo included)?

I have long "emo" hair. But I'm not "emo", I had this hair before the emo epidemic began. And just kept it while it was on, and now its died down, I'm jus being called a stupid emo, and all the insults get bigger as it dies down. The only other style i had was 3 years ago, short n spikey. Also known as geeky. So any ideas? Without going chav? Just a normal person? I straighten my hair aswell, I have really terrible hair that is extremly curly, and it all nots without straightening it, and my sides n fringe go like streamers. So any ideas?

Just going about two or three inches shorter would make it look completely different.

i would trim the front so its just above your eyes. cut the sides so it flips out

try the rijammah look or jus wet it so it becomes curly and gel it so it wont knot

Just cut the bangs up to at least above your eyes. Maybe the sides too if you're feeling daring. And try parting it in the middle if you want to avoid the emo stereotyping.
