i have a round face and im pretty chunky. right now i have really curly hair and pretty long. i wanna cut it so that the sides are shorter than the top and bangs so i can straighten it and do it to the side so i'll have them emo bangs thing.

First you must ask yourself if that's an appropriate haircut for your lifestyle. If you're still a student with no job, then I say, by all means, bring those photos to your stylist and he or she can work with your hair thickness, your face shape and features to make it look amazing! You must be willing to use good products and keep it up by returning to the stylist regularly.
When clients come to me with certain styles, often I must tell them that the hairstyle they really want will absolutely NOT suit what Mother Nature gave them, but I try EVERYTHING I can to balance what they want and what will make them look their best. When my brother was a little kid he always said he wanted his hair cut like Leif Garrett (a celebrity from the 70s) but my brother had thin, fine, straight hair! We must settle for making the most of what we have naturally!
However, if you're in a position where you work in a conservative environment, I say don't go so radically "different". Being "out there" could damage your chances for promotion, or could even get you fired, even though that seems unfair.

The hair style looks good based on the images. However, I am not sure it will work on your face shape and especially since your hair is naturally very curly. Unless you plan to get it professional straightened, it may be a pain and end up looking worse off. To be sure, consult a hair stylist.

I did a similar thing, but sometimes really short hair isn't great for round faces!
If I was you %26amp; had really long hair, I would maybe cut it half way 1st %26amp; then go to next stage %26amp; have it all off!

I don't really like it, but you can do whatever you want. I'd suggest growing out the sides to frame your face... it will make it appear more slender.

Its undeniabley cool. If you want to go for it, then do it. If you have a rounder face it won't look as good as this guys. I get weird cuts like that all the time. Calling them emo bangs isn't cool though. It's more of a punkish haircut, the word emo is so dragged around now nobody even knows what it means anymore. But ya, the cut is cool.
I know its a bit ott, but the hairdresser can make your hair naturaly straight all of the time, it takes hours, but it will stay straight untill it grows out. If you've got the cash it could be a good investment.

well I think the bangs are really pretty but don't cut it that short because when it starts to grow back it will look wierd. you should get a hair cut like rihanna or katie holmes

whatever you choose remember this, it will grow.. and different styles are worth a chance.. my niece's 7 yr. old just had her 1st. big cut.. over 10 inches and asked that it be saved 4 the cancer Patience's.. and guess what, they took her picture and put it in the newspaper : ) she is going 2 let it grow again and continue 2 donate it .. now isn't that something 2 write home about : )
