i guess i am pretty good looking, above average at least, but most guys dont really look at me or are into me beacause i wear my hair short with long bangs. They either think i am lesbian or an emo, which i am neither.

I think it's just a personal preference for each individual. Some ladies are sexy with short haircuts. Some even look great almost bald. LOL!

Because they are stupid. My best friend had short hair like yours and boys said she looked like a guy but she is very, very pretty. Her hair got longer and she cut it again the same way but got pink streaks in her hair. It helped a little bit. It wasn't emo because her hair was blonde and the sreaks were pink, and it wasn't les either. They looked good on her.

Men are visual for the most part and to varying degrees. A woman's face is a very telling and important characteristic that we men look at. Some women look good with short hair. Others do not, some look good wearing either. Some women have not figured out which they are and often try wearing their hair (clothing, etc) that is a style that is not right for them. As such the 'look' doesn't fit, and it ruins their symmetry. Yes.....symmetry. Whether we like it or not, physical beauty is (supposedly) associated with the symmetry of one's physical characteristics. If something ruins this 'flow', it instantly removes the interest also.

Perhaps you would look nicer with longer hair. Let it grow. Style it....play with it. You may hit on a 'look' that will get 'our' interest in your direction. Then as long as you are a 'cool' person, you'll have plenty of male interest.

You are probably quite pretty and cute, but sometimes a ratty, nappy hair-do ruins it. We men like hair....we like longer hair on women. It's a very nice female characteristic!

If you look like a boy, then no wonder why you get the reactions you get. A less attractive woman with NICE hair can get away with a lot more than a cuter woman with nasty hair.

Women with short hair run the risk of looking like chia pets going bad......but again....some can wear that look. Perhaps you are not the type to be sporting the short look.

Because guys like LONG HAIR. It's sexy and the way us woman use it like flipping it and stuff makes the guys go crazy. They like that sensuallity and long hair gives off just that it show femininity.
