Please help and dont get mad?

ok so i hate using this term too so please dont get mad at me but i dont know what else to call it (if you have any suggestions for a word substitution, please tell me) but i want "emo hair" (there, i said it) my hair is blonde and about shoulder length and im getting it cut and possibly colored tomorrow. im a chick, and my hair already covers half of my face but i have a cowlick so that makes it hard to part my hair (is there anything i can put on cowlicks to tame them?) and i want it shorter but all the styles that i like are guy styles. they are pretty long in the front and short and spiky in the back. if anyone has any suggestions on how to style my hair "emo" and/or has any pictures of good "emo" hair cuts, could you please give them to me? thanks a bunch for the help

P.S. i really need tips on how to style it too. thanks!

Cut it like your avatar and dye it reddish brown. You used a good word by the way :] My advice dont cut it emo. Youll regret it. I had long beautiful blondish hair and i chopped off and dyesd it brown. Then when I hated it 2 weeks later, i got it dyed to normal and it looked worde!! just dont do it

i think calling it emo hair is ok, nobody i kno is offended by it and i have alot of emo friends, but any way it's ok if it is a guy hair cut, the guys and girls hair cuts for emo hair r pretty much the same thing
