Short layers on long hair?

my hair is just over my boobs. and i really love the length of it. i was wondering (since im getting it trimmed soon) if short layers would look good? i like the way it is when theres alot of choppy short layers.. but i dont want to look toooo emo. do you think that would look okay? also, if you had pictures that would be greattt :D

ya that would look good. just make sure that you don't make the shorter layers too thick and you let them blend with the rest.

it would look good as long as you dont have some weird out of the ordinary shaped face. And if you dont want to look emo, dont dress or wear to much makeup like emo people do.

That would look so CUTE!! That's exactly how I got my hair cut about a week ago and I LOVE it!!! I was worried how it would look to but it turned out really cute!! My hair is about the same length as urs too. Hope the best towars you!!!
